How Crown of the Cosmos is scored

Each metric is a percentile rank within the selected pool — best value = 100. Equal death rates rank by prog pulls (more = better); equal avoidance rates by qualifying pulls. Exact ties share their best placement. The Overall score is a weighted blend of the three, then itself re-ranked into a percentile.

Weights

Survival 40% · Damage 30% · Avoidance 30%

Eligibility

Ranked players need ≥ 25 prog pulls and ≥ 5 qualifying pulls. Below either floor, unranked.

Death cap (truncation)

Each pull's scoring window ends at the 3rd raid death; everything after is ignored for all metrics. Pulls under 10s are dropped.

Deaths

Counted deaths ÷ prog pulls (lower is better). Deaths to wipe mechanics are excluded from this metric (they still count toward truncation):

• Bursting Emptiness
• Melee — generic melee id on this boss (Midnight Falls uses a boss-specific one)

Avoidance

Avoidable damage taken per second, measured from pull start. A pull qualifies only if it reaches the marker and you were alive there. Avoidable abilities:

• Corrupting Essence
• Orbiting Matter
• Ravenous Abyss
• Singularity Eruption
• Void Remnants

Universe: public-logging US guilds that cleared the tier (a Mythic Midnight Falls kill), progression pulls only, each window closing at the guild's first kill. Some guilds private-log and are not represented. Config v2.
